Co-Curator: In the Mood for Love is a RISD student exhibition representing over thirty artists who identify/intersect as Asian, Asian-American, or Pacific-Islander/American. We highlight our intersecting personal narratives that observe the way our identity is flattened into “pan-Asia,” as a result of colonization, orientalism, racism, and homophobia. With this exhibition we ask the RISD community to support and be accountable for one another in solidarity with all POCI (people of color and indigenous).

RISD Asian-Intersections and Diaspora (RAID) APR 2017 - PRESENT
Co-Founder, Co-President: RAID is a student-run activist organization dedicated to diversifying the RISD community by highlighting marginalized identities and working towards intersectional visibility for Asian-American-Pacific-Islander (AAPI) identifying students on campus. We primarily organize smaller community-based discussion groups, bonding events, and distributing resources. In addition, we collaborate with several other groups on Brown and RISD campus such as Black Artists and Designers (BAAD) and the mixed-Asian identifying group at Brown (MASH) to garner attention, funding, and accessibility for students to receive resources and support that they do not find in their own studios and classrooms.
